The Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge: Pink and White.

Over at the lovely Ribbon girl Blog the challenge is 'Pink and White'. I love using pink and white so I decided to make a couple of cards:

A cute Christmas mouse :) The mouse was cut on my cricut machine which I then stuck together and added a wobbly eye.

The large paper flower on the Happy Anniversary card is handmade, I just punched out lots of different flower shaped and glued them together. The silhouette couple was cut using my cricut.
I made all my cards using white and Kraft cardstock then I stamped and decorated them.

Have a look at the Ribbon Girl Blog it is full of inspiration from their amazing design team:

Wee memories challenge:week 73 'Free for all'

Hi here is my card entry for this weeks challenge at Wee Memories. This week the challenge was to make a project with your own inspiration. So as Christmas will be here soon I made this Christmas card to add to my cards to send out. I stitched the edges of the green paper, layered up some other papers and used my border punch along the bottom. I then added this snowman cut with my cricut to finish off the card. This year I am really enjoying making my Christmas cards as I am normally unorganized and only make a few, which is naughty as I then have to go out and buy a huge stock of cards. Not ideal when you are a cardmaker he he.

The design team have done another amazing job this week at Wee Memories, go and take a look and get ready to be very inspired: http://suchins.blogspot.com/

Wee memories challenge 'holiday madness'.

Hello, here is my card for the Wee Memories challenge 'Holiday Madness'. I thought I would make a Christmas card as I need to make a start and thought this would be a good way to do so. I never make enough Christmas cards but I will start making some more soon.  I thought this mouse and reindeer was so cute so I used my cricut to cut them out, and gave the reindeer a cute scarf and nose. The ribbon is actually an old ribbon from a Christmas present a few years ago so at least im recyling :)

There are loads of lovely cards on the wee memories blog: http://suchins.blogspot.com/
The design team are amazing! Thank you for stopping by,

Shabby tea room week 82: A shabby Autumn

Hi, here is this weeks challenge at the shabby tea room 'A shabby Autumn'. Head on over to their beautiful blog and take a look at all the lovely cards.

My shabby autumn card was made by sewing an orange cardstock base to the front of my card, I then used my border punches across the bottom. The greeting is embossed and I also added a scallop edge to the side. My witch was from the graphics fairy and i thought she looked really sweet so I added her onto the card as the main image.

I actually made the flower and I also folded up a piece of ribbon to stick along the top. So this was my finished card, I really enjoyed this challenge as I love autumn and all the yellow and brown colours it makes me feel cosy :)

Thanks for looking ;)

Shabby tea room challene week 81: Chevrons, & fantabulous cricut card challenges

Hi all here is my entry into this weeks shabby tea room challenge, I decided to make a bird card as I had no idea where to start with the card basics! After cutting up paper and getting stuck in glue i finally finished my card!  We also had to use the colours blue, green, orange, cream and brown along with chevrons. I decided to make a folded card and used green as the background colour.

The insert of my card is cream card with inked edges and a scallop border along the top. I used chevrons in the colours brown, blue, cream and orange. I am really pleased with the outcome of the card as once I started making it I thought it was going very wrong, but I kept going and normally when I do this the card is a disaster but I was very pleased with the end result!

Head on over to http://theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com/ and see all the gorgeous cards,

Its world card making day saturday and the lovely guys on the cricut blog are giving away a cuttlebug, which i would love! I love all the embossing effects you can do with the cuttlebug along with all their gorgeous dies, its a match made in heaven :) so i would like to enter this card and crafty fingers crossed  :)

Fantabulous Cricut chalenge

The challenge over at fantabulous cricut this week is to use a splash of yellow, so this is my card. I have been following the challenges for the past month but as I am a new mum I'm finding it hard to find time to upload my projects so I really need to get back into the challenges and uploading! The sun is cut out on my cricut using doodlecharms and the actual card is from the beloved wild card cart which I still adore! The flower is also cut out on the cricut using accent essentials.

Forever Friends challenge-a sketch

Hi here is my challenge for forever friends challenge blog using a sketch. I mixed the sketch up a tiny bit and this is my end result. The forever friends image has been stamped and coloured in using inks. The ribbon was twisted up and stapled on followed by some thread. I then stamped the get well greeting and ran it through my paper crimper.  I really enjoyed making this card for the challenge as I have just had a beautiful baby girl 6 weeks ago and it was really nice to get back into cardmaking!.

Thanks for visiting!
