Shabby tea room week 82: A shabby Autumn
Hi, here is this weeks challenge at the shabby tea room 'A shabby Autumn'. Head on over to their beautiful blog and take a look at all the lovely cards.
My shabby autumn card was made by sewing an orange cardstock base to the front of my card, I then used my border punches across the bottom. The greeting is embossed and I also added a scallop edge to the side. My witch was from the graphics fairy and i thought she looked really sweet so I added her onto the card as the main image.
I actually made the flower and I also folded up a piece of ribbon to stick along the top. So this was my finished card, I really enjoyed this challenge as I love autumn and all the yellow and brown colours it makes me feel cosy :)
Thanks for looking ;)

Shabby tea room challene week 81: Chevrons, & fantabulous cricut card challenges
Hi all here is my entry into this weeks shabby tea room challenge, I decided to make a bird card as I had no idea where to start with the card basics! After cutting up paper and getting stuck in glue i finally finished my card! We also had to use the colours blue, green, orange, cream and brown along with chevrons. I decided to make a folded card and used green as the background colour.
The insert of my card is cream card with inked edges and a scallop border along the top. I used chevrons in the colours brown, blue, cream and orange. I am really pleased with the outcome of the card as once I started making it I thought it was going very wrong, but I kept going and normally when I do this the card is a disaster but I was very pleased with the end result!
Head on over to http://theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com/ and see all the gorgeous cards,
Its world card making day saturday and the lovely guys on the cricut blog are giving away a cuttlebug, which i would love! Fantabulous Cricut chalenge
The challenge over at fantabulous cricut this week is to use a splash of yellow, so this is my card. I have been following the challenges for the past month but as I am a new mum I'm finding it hard to find time to upload my projects so I really need to get back into the challenges and uploading! The sun is cut out on my cricut using doodlecharms and the actual card is from the beloved wild card cart which I still adore! The flower is also cut out on the cricut using accent essentials.

Forever Friends challenge-a sketch
Hi here is my challenge for forever friends challenge blog using a sketch. I mixed the sketch up a tiny bit and this is my end result. The forever friends image has been stamped and coloured in using inks. The ribbon was twisted up and stapled on followed by some thread. I then stamped the get well greeting and ran it through my paper crimper. I really enjoyed making this card for the challenge as I have just had a beautiful baby girl 6 weeks ago and it was really nice to get back into cardmaking!.
Thanks for visiting!
