Nearly the end of 2010

Well its nearly the end of the year again and I cant believe how fast its gone! Just a quick and simple card I made using unity stamps. Have a brilliant new year!

Getting ready for christmas & get well

Christmas is nearly here.........

So much for waiting for christmas.......I am rubbish at buying presents for lucky then letting her have them oh well.....

The guilty look....

Its that time of year again where everyone starts rushing around the shops to buy presents for eachother. Yep christmas is on its way. We have already had snow here and im sure we will get more. It's also the time of year where most people will be full of colds and bugs so instead of an x mas card i have a made a get well card. Thats not to say that I haven't been making christmas cards too..... ;-)

Sympathy card

Hi here is a card I made using a unity stamp butterfly stamp. The backing paper is actually embossed with embossing powder then a light pink stamp rubbed over the top to give a 3D image. The sympathy message was stamped and I cut out the letters individually. I then added white stitching and a organza bow and a prima flower at the top.

Polka Doodles challenge

Hi Here is my card for the polka doodles challenge which was to make an easel card. I used the papers from my all around and everywhere cd and the stampies which i adore. I coloured the images in with my pro markers then added a gloss onto the images.

I am loving the polka doodles cd roms they are amazing. My camera didn't take the best pictures this time im not sure what happened lol. I really enjoyed this challenge and had so much fun making this card.

This is the brand new cricut imagine machine which I really really want ;-)

not only does it cut but also prints your cartridge images too. You can even pick different colours and patterns. I know this has just been released in the USA but hopefully it will be in the UK soon......

Right time to get saving i think........

a card for mum

Here is a card I made for my mum just to say thank you for everything that she has done. I mainly used my cricut to cut the circles,scallops, and bracket. I handmade the ribbon flower and paper flower.

Passion for Promarkers challenge week 57

Hi I have completed a challenge for passion for promarkers where we had to include our favorite things. Well I love frogs and I love sunbathing (maybe a bit too much ) so I made this card today. I really love this frog its so sweet. I colored in the frog with my lovely pro marker pens I really must get some more as they are amazing. Hope you all enjoy your day,

Here is a card I made today I must be mad as it's so hot and sunny outside and im sat inside crafting :-) I guess that shows you how addicted crafting is. I coloured in the gnome with my pro's which I really adore right now.  The plus side is I did manage to get outside and take a picture.

Forever friends card challenge

A little love...

Another card made with the cricut, I wanted to make a really simple congratulations card so this was the end result :-). It did not take long at all to make as its a very simple card.

How sweet are the forever friends stamps? I think there one of the most loved bears and i can't get enough of them.

I made this card using a forever friends stamp. I am actually in the process of making more forever friends cards I think most people love these cute bears and they seem to be everywhere. I have actually had this stamp a while but just not used it for a long time so it was time to dig it out of my craft stash and have a play.

I made this card on my cricut using the wild card cart which I love! The dragon is a digital stamp from dustin pike and I coloured the image using my pro markers. I am addicted to my digi stamps now and pro markers. The best thing about digi stamps is that you can make them smaller or larger and print as many off as you need.

Animal crackers

I love these cute Kanban stamps, they really cheer up any piece of card. So I went and made this jungle card too!

I think I am going to invest in some more Kanban stamps I love them!

And I have been using them ever since I bought them making loads of animal cards which is a good thing! You can never go wrong with a cute animal stamp.

sweet & simple

So here is a sweet & simple card. I think that not every card you make has to be really detailed and busy, sometimes its the more simple cards that look nice. Plus i often get days when i just can't make anything. I sit at my craft desk just staring at all the different stamps,papers and feel really stuck and often overwhelmed. Saying that i do also get days where i cant stop crafting and cutting out all the little details :-)

Also if its raining and really miserable outside then i find that i can sit down at my craft desk and away i go!

Thinking of you..


Just a sweet and simple thinking of you card. The butterfly was cut using my cricut and the paisley cartridge. This is such a sweet cartridge and anyone who loves their cricut should try and get this one as it's so versatile. There are loads of cute images on this one including a monkey :-)

I thought i would dig out my forever friends wedding stamp as i havent used this stamp for so long, it was just sat at the bottom of my box. I had no idea what card I wanted to make so i just went with flow and this was the end result. :-)

At the end of the day......

This is lucky our lovely dog. She is mental and has such a huge personality. This photo was taken at the end of the day where she was so tired. I think she spent most of the day chasing her tail and playing in the garden :-)

I am going to do some scrapbook pages soon and I am sure she will be the main focus.
She is such a sweetheart and makes my life much more enjoyable x

Cute cat

This card I made was done on my beloved cricut, The scallop card was from the wild card cart and it even has a cute scallop envelope to match! The wild card has to be one of my favorites carts. The cat was made using the sweethearts cart.
