Spectrum noir pens

Just a quick post about the new spectrum noir pens by crafters companion, I am very pleased with them! The pens hold a lot of ink and like the promarkers and copics they have a fine nib end and a wide nib. I have got to say though that for the money the noir pens are these are an absolute bargain!! You get six pens in a pack and they range from about £6 upwards depending on where you buy.

Happy birthday little monster

Here is a card I made using my silhouette cameo, the monster shape is from Hero Arts and I cut some border strips. The circle has hand stitching around the edges and I ran a pro marker over the little monster. I then added some alphabet stickers for my greeting. I have a 'thing' at the moment for monsters and aliens so I am sure I will be making more cards like these. Plus I think they are great for all ages and bring some fun to the card.

I love the cameo machine and it makes such a difference being able to weld shapes and texts together and of course you can choose what images you want. I still also love my cricut and the imagine is just amazing at printing so I will have to get back on it and print some bits off.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day,

Shabby Tea Room Challenge week 108 homegrown flowers

The Shabby Tea Room challenge this week was to use their beautiful photo for inspiration and to make sure that you had handmade flowers on your card. These Flowers on my card are made from paper and card and even though they took a long time to make I love how they finish the card off. I need to make a lot of thank you cards so this challenge was perfect for that.

There is so much inspiration on the shabby tea room blog why not head over there and have a look, the designers are just amazing.

Thank you so much for stopping bye and having a quick look,

How lucky was I to get this for Christmas! I am seriously impressed!! The way the cameo cuts is just mind blowing! I love the fact that I can design and weld designs on the computer it really is a dream.

The Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge: Pink and White.

Over at the lovely Ribbon girl Blog the challenge is 'Pink and White'. I love using pink and white so I decided to make a couple of cards:

A cute Christmas mouse :) The mouse was cut on my cricut machine which I then stuck together and added a wobbly eye.

The large paper flower on the Happy Anniversary card is handmade, I just punched out lots of different flower shaped and glued them together. The silhouette couple was cut using my cricut.
I made all my cards using white and Kraft cardstock then I stamped and decorated them.

Have a look at the Ribbon Girl Blog it is full of inspiration from their amazing design team:

Forever Friends challenge: Christmas is coming!!

The challenge over at forever friends challenge blog is 'Christmas is coming' so I couldn't wait to make a Christmas card as I have only made a few but I am doing much better than last year!

I used my cuttlebug embossing folder foe the polka dot background and i cut a small tag to use a rub on which I then decorated with snowflakes and glitter.

I love this cute forever friends bear, who looks very cosy and cute!
